Subscribe to The Eastern Samar Team Blog!

November 12th, 2007 | by Ced Solidon |

RSS logoI’ve added a nifty new feature on this blog for our readers who don’t have the time to visit the site often yet want to be always updated on new posts and comments.

It’s actually built-in to the blog already but it’s only now that I’ve let the public know about it.

What is RSS?

Called RSS for Really Simple Syndication, it enables people to subscribe to the blog through an RSS reader. RSS readers automatically fetch new updates from your favorite blog without going to the blog’s page itself.

RSS Readers/Aggregators

While there are many RSS readers out there, we suggest using the program called Mozilla Thunderbird. There is also the new Yahoo Mail’s built-in RSS reader for those who have Yahoo accounts as well as Google Reader for those with Google accounts.

How to Subscribe

Once you have any of those RSS readers, also known as aggregators, just copy the links below so you can start getting your feeds:

Subscribe to Posts:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/sinirangan

Subscribe to Comments:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/estecomments

Benefits:

Subscribing to Sinirangan.com’s RSS feeds enables you to do the following:

- Get the latest articles and even comments as soon as they become available
- Lets you read the updates without having to visit the site itself. This is especially useful to our busy readers

Want to know more about RSS? Here are some articles that I suggest you read:

Got more questions? Do you like this feature? Drop them at the comments box below.
