3 Samar Bishops Spearhead SIPPaD Forum
By Ced Solidon • Sep 22nd, 2008 • Category: Events, NewsThe three Catholic Bishops of Samar island got together for the Samar Island Partnership for Peace and Development (SIPPaD) forum in Catarman, Northern Samar last Sept. 19.
In the forum, the three bishops – Emmanuel Trance of Catarman, Isabelo Abarquez of Calbayog and Crispin Varquez of Borongan – talked about three major issues: good governance, peace and order, and the protection of the environment. They were joined by representatives of several government and non-government agencies.
