Human Rights Group Accuses Military of Torturing and Killing 3 Civilians in Borongan

A human rights group, Katungod-Sinirangan Bisayas, claims that the military tortured and killed 3 civilians in a remote barrio in Borongan last Sept. 3.

Here’s a quote from Joey A. Gabieta’s article:

“Katungod-Sinirangan Bisayas identified the fatalities as Jimmy Anday, Chito and Ronald Catubay who were said to be on their way to their farms in Sitio Bagong Barrio, Barangay Pinanag-an…”

  2. I am a soldier’s son and my father himself admits that their group does the killings not only in samar, but in some parts of the country as well. Though, my father has not been involved in such activity because he only stays in his office.
