Signs That The 2010 Election Is Near
By Ced Solidon • Jan 19th, 2009 • Category: FeaturesHow do you know that the 2010 election is just around the corner? Apparently, former GMA reporter Ralph Guzman sees 10 signs about the incoming election.
If I were to choose the three best signs on his list, I’d choose the following:
1. “Jejomar Binay likens himself to incoming US President Barack Obama. [Hey, it's a free country, and everyone is free to hallucinate.]”
2. “Loren Legarda (deliberately?) uses the wake of Former President Estrada’s mother to distribute t-shirts that have her picture. [This also happened during the December interfaith rally against Charter Change).”
3. “Presidentiables like Manny Villar air stories about rescued ofw’s, edited in the guise of a news story.”
It’s fun to see how these people who supposedly belong to the upper class can bring themselves so low for their selfish ends.

Well, the 2010 Election is near because it is already 2009!
One thing we have to watch out for is the Christmas Season this year since the deadline for the filing of COCs (November 30) is almost a month before Christmas Day. Think how many individuals and groups will be taking “advantage” of the season to ask “pamaskohan” from candidates!
By that time we’ll be so sure about the 2010 elections being so very near!
