Job Opportunity for Unemployed Registered Nurses in Eastern Samar
By Ced Solidon • Mar 18th, 2009 • Category: NewsAre you an unemployed registered nurse (RN)? You now have the chance of finding work by being a volunteer nurse in your municipality through the government’s Nurses Assigned in Rural Services (NARS) program.
Here are some of the details of the program:
- Around 1,150 unemployed and inexperienced RNs will be accepted from Region 8
- Accepted applicants will be assigned to their respective municipalities
- Hiring will be in two batches: first will be 575 nurses who will be deployed for six months from April- September 2009; the second one will be deployed from October 2009 to March 2010
- Preliminary assessment of applicants will be held on March 23
- Accepted nurses will be given a Certificate of Completion and will receive a monthly stipend of P8,000
