The Eastern Samar Community Blog

The first and only community blog about the province of Eastern Samar, Philippines. With news, literature and a lot more.

I am quitting The Eastern Samar Community Blog

By • Apr 20th, 2009 • Category: Announcements

A lot people have been speculating about the eventual death of this blog, or the day I finally quit on this blog. So there, I am finally confirming it: I am quitting Sinirangan.com.

What will happen to the blog?

Will I be pulling the plug on it finally?

Has the governor stopped funding this blog?

Before you jump to conclusions, hold your horses.

I am only going to go cold turkey on the blog for two weeks to go on a much needed vacation. And when I return, I will tell you stories and pictures of how my trip went.

Now isn’t that a little self-serving? After all, this isn’t Cedric Solidon’s blog, this is the Eastern Samar Community Blog. No, it isn’t. Why? Because the stories and pictures will be about the province!

Yep, I will try to go around to as many places as I can in the province and share with you snippets of stories and pictures so you’ll see how our province is doing, how it looks like already and whatnot. I will try to serve as a virtual tour guide for you folks who haven’t gone home in a long time. I also hope to show people who wish to go to Eastern Samar some things they should expect to see there.

So I’m going to the province. For our readers who are based in the province, I’m sorry but I won’t sign any autographs or do any photo ops. I’ll just go there to relax and enjoy the view.

In the meantime, Fhen Macabasag will be looking over the blog so that aliens, terrorists or the NPA won’t be able to take over it while I’m away. I might check it from time to time but only to see everything’s running as smooth as silk.

Adios for now and I’ll return with my pictures and stories!

PS: the comment about the governor is purely sarcastic. If you don’t know what a sarcastic comment is, I suggest you check your trusty dictionary.
