That’s right, it’s the Borongan Cathedral. I read from the forum where I picked up the photos that they were taken sometime around the early 20th century, just about the time when the Americans colonized the Philippines.
From a historical point of view, it’s quite sad to see that little of the old church has been preserved except for some of the belfry.
Here’s one of the lions that used to guard the church’s entrance, which is based on Chinese Fu lions:
