Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers out there. That of course includes my Nanay. Among other things, the blog would be without her lending me her credit card. Hehe. I hope we make our mothers happy today.
If you like to send your greeting to your mother, you can leave a comment on the box below. You can also submit essays, poems, stories and whatnot about your mother by becoming a Sinirangan.com contributor.

Aside from that, it gives the visitors the chance to discuss it on this blog. Also, the readers have the power to decide which topic to discuss every week.

As you will notice when you login to your Sinirangan.com user account, several things have changed. It’s because Wordpress, the blogging platform that this site is using, has made a huge upgrade with their new version.
You may need some getting used to with the new look and the fact that some things have moved here and there. Don’t worry though because the functionality remains the same.
For your quick reference, here are some changes in the new version:
- The Categories menu (the menu wherein you choose which category your post falls under) has moved from the side bar to the portion under the writing area.
- You can now choose the color scheme of your administration page by clicking the ‘Profile’ link on the upper-right corner of the page.
- You can now post multiple images at once, unlike before when you had to upload them one-by-one.
And we’ve added this feature for this blog: A description about you, the author of the post, will appear at the end of each post. You can create your description by logging on to your account and going to your Profile page. You can then enter your text on the Description box. This is to give more recognition to contributors by allowing them to tell something more about themselves. They can also add links to their other websites or blogs, if they have any.
For more of the new features this version of Wordpress has, you can check them at this page.
