I was browsing the web this afternoon when I came across Elbert B. Cainday’s piece entitled ‘Road of Contention’. It is about the row between the camp of Cong. Teodulo ‘Doloy’ Coquilla and the provincial government about the rehabilitation of Eastern Samar’s portion of the national road. Here’s a quote from the piece:

The name of the new Bishop of Borongan is Bishop Crispin Barrete Varquez. Born on December 5, 1960, ordained as priest on April 14, 1989, and appointed as Bishop of Borongan last August 4, 2007. He is from Bohol. He is the sixth Bishop of Borongan.
